Jenny Bergs skulpturer, installationer, texter och filmer är ofta fristående delar av händelseförlopp. Berättelserna utspelar sig på olika verklighetsplan och växlar mellan det realistiska eller vardagliga och det teatrala, mellan det ordinära och det inte ordinära. Hon är intresserad av önskningar som verkar för stora och vad som händer med dem i en konstnärlig process. 

Material som äkta rådjurshjärtan, jord, guld och gipsskivor blandas med modeller, rekvisitaliknande objekt och fiberoptiska stjärnfall som slår in genom taket. I sina arbeten återkommer hon ofta till områden där något övergår i något annat. Det kan handla om väggar mellan rum,  ställen där objekt berörs och förändras bara genom att de iakttas, platser där vildmark blir civilisation eller där världen blir för svår att hantera och förstå och myten tar vid.

Jenny Bergs sculptures, installations, films, texts etc. are often independent parts of sequences of events. The stories take place in different levels of reality and alternate between the realistic, the daily and the theatrical, between the ordinary and the not ordinary. She is interested in wishes that seems too big and what happens to them in an artistic process.

Materials like real roe dear hearts, soil, gold or plaster boards are mixed with models, props like objects and fiberoptic stars falling through the ceiling. In her work she often returns to areas where one thing amounts to another. It can be about walls between rooms, places where objects are affected and changed only by being observed, sites where wilderness passes into civilisation or where the world becomes too difficult to handle and understand and myth takes over.
